Charlotte Smith was one of four female Countryfile presenters who were unceremoniously dropped from the programme back in 2009 due to alleged ageism. Also involved in the controversial reshuffling were Michaela Strachan, Juliet Morris and Miriam O'Reilly, who later achieved victory against the BBC in an employment tribunal.

She will travel south along the trail towards Bodmin, where she finds out how this landscape inspired one family to pursue their dream of creating a vineyard. At the end of the Camel Trail, Charlotte visits the National Lobster Hatchery, where they breed lobsters to help replenish the population in the waters off north Cornwall. And away from Cornwall, Charlotte
