Lensed in Iceland, the film captures the struggle for integration, and the search for self, all set in the film’s stunning but cold seascapes.  Drukarova’s character Lili follows in the footsteps of the book’s author, Catherine Poulain, who spent 10 years working on fishing boats in Alaska, as documented in the book.

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Bobby Cannavale, Robert De Niro and Rose Byrne will share the screen in the upcoming road-trip comedy “Inappropriate Behavior.” Tony Goldwyn is directing the film, which also stars Vera Farmiga, Rainn Wilson, Whoopi Goldberg and newcomer William Fitzgerald. “Inappropriate Behavior” follows Max Bernal (Cannavale), a once-successful late-night comedy writer turned not-so-successful stand-up comic, who moves in with his father (De Niro), having recently blown up his career and marriage. When he and his ex-wife Jenna (played by Cannavale’s real-life partner, Byrne) find themselves at odds with how to address the needs of their 11-year-old autistic son Ezra (Fitzgerald), Max decides to kidnap his child and take him on a cross-country odyssey … with comically disastrous results.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Charlotte Wells’ “Aftersun” won the Grand Prize of the Deauville American Film Festival on Saturday evening during a ceremony which was followed by the French premiere of Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling.” “Aftersun” had world premiered at Critics Week in Cannes where it won a prize. The movie marks the feature debut of Wells, a New York-based Scottish filmmaker. Headlined by “Normal People” actor Paul Mescal, the bittersweet drama follows a father and his daughter who take a holiday at a Turkish resort in the late 1990s. The movie is being represented in international markets by Charades and will be distributed in North America by A24.

Ofgem has said it will continue to announce the cap on household energy prices, despite the UK Government saying it would guarantee lower bills for customers. The energy regulator said that it plans to still make the announcements every three months, as it continues to regulate how much suppliers can charge for their services.

K.J. Yossman Warner Bros. Discovery and BT Group have formed a joint venture combining the assets of BT Sport and Eurosport U.K. into an as-yet-untitled joint venture. Both WBD and BT hold a 50% stake each in the new venture and are equally represented on the board. The chair will be rotated between the companies, with the inaugural post held by BT, who have appointed Marc Allera, CEO of BT’s consumer division. Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe president and managing director Andrew Georgiou is also on the board and will lead the business. Although the transaction has been completed, BT Sport and Eurosport U.K. currently retain their individual identities and can continue to be accessed by viewers as normal. They will be merged at an unspecified date.
