Coronation Street fans shared their views as they watched Wednesday night's episode of the ITV soap. Soap watchers were triggered as they watched hospital scenes featuring Amy Barlow and Paul Foreman in two separate storylines.
The scenes had fans taking to Twitter to air their annoyance as they thought writers might be trying to make a point. In Paul's story he was shattered to be told that he had limb-onset Motor Neurone Disease, and he wanted to know how long he has left to live.
"Some people die within three years, others live longer. The more we assess you the more information we'll have on your specific case," he was told.

But Paul deflected his heartache by switching focus to how long left he and his friend Dee-Dee Bailey had left on the car park. He stormed out and continued to take his anger out on bad parking from the car next to them.
Elsewhere, Amy Barlow was hospitalised after downing a bottle of vodka following her rape ordeal. As she shared a heart to heart with her parents, they were interrupted by a doctor who told them she could go home. But Steve seemed disappointed, pointing out that he'd just paid for two hours on the car park.
