Former Coronation Street star Sushil Chudasama looks unrecognisable in a new snap, 18 years on from when he appeared on the soap as Sarah Platt's lover. He played Scooter Makuna on the show, as he enjoyed an affair with Sarah Platt - played by Tina O'Brien - but the character made his exit after a huge argument, as the actor left the soap for another job.
All these years on, Sushil, who is a presenter on BBC Lancashire, looks very different, with grey hair and a salt and pepper beard. He recently welcomed his first child - a daughter - with his partner, and he announced his little girl's birth and her unusual name on an Instagram post on Boxing Day.
Sushil shared plenty of snaps of the little one in hospital, which included her in her crib, resting on his partner's chest and enjoying a hold from her daddy. In the caption, Sushil wrote: "@kimbyd and I are thrilled to share the news that on Wednesday last week, on the Winter Solstice 21st December at 4.59pm our beautiful daughter was born.
"Eira (pronounced Ay-rah) Roberta Evans-Chudasama."Weight - 7lbs 7 ounces."We are totally in love with our very own Christmas Angel and can't wait to share her with the world."We know her Great Grandpa Robert is looking down on her with great pride!" A few months later, in February, he shared a gorgeous few snaps as the new family of three enjoyed a sunset walk in their local park. He wrote on Instagram: "First family walk to one of our favourite places, #HeatonPark in our new baby carrier - will we mess it up? Will she like it? Will she be comfortable? "Luckily she slept the whole walk! "Crisp winter weather with #mochas #cuddles #sunsets #firstsunset #newborn #newlife #nature." As well as being a presenter for BBC Lancashire, Sushil
