Coronation Street star Sally Carman has confirmed that Abi Franklin and Kevin Webster will split in upcoming episodes. Only recently on the ITV soap, Abi, played by Sally, 40, was left devastated after her onscreen son Seb Franklin was murdered by Corey Brent and his gang in a hate crime earlier this year.

It was a night of celebrations for the stars of Coronation Street after the soap scooped all three gongs at the TV Choice Awards for the second year in a row.The awards ceremony, which was hosted by Rob Beckett and held virtually, saw the ITV soap win Best Soap Actor, Best Soap Actress and the big one – Best Soap.
