Coronation Street star Harriet Bibby has admitted to the difficulties of being on set as her character returns and is involved in Paul Foreman's Motor Neurone Disease storyline.
In upcoming scenes, viewers of the ITV soap will see Summer Spellman return from America and reveal that she’s got a new boyfriend, Felix.
While it's been weeks since she was last seen in Weatherfield, the teenage character's plans to leave were actually revealed in February when she told her guardian Billy Mayhew she had been offered a chance to study in America. But Summer told Billy at the time that she knew it was not the right time amid his husband Paul Foreman's diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease.

While they agreed she should put the placement back a year, Paul found out and wasn't on board before managing to change both of their minds. There were doubts, however, when Billy had to come clean and tell Summer about Paul's plans to end his life when he felt the time was right.
Summer did, however, book her flight to Boston as she was reassured by Billy and Paul that she'd be the first to know of any changes to Paul's condition. Later Billy, Paul and Todd Grimshaw bid an emotional farewell to Summer as she set off in the back of a taxi with the trio watching on with tears in their eyes.
But her return comes before Paul suffers an accident. Billy and Paul are about to leave the flat to meet Summer and Felix in the Rovers. But Paul falls down the stairs as Paul recovers, Todd Grimshaw turns up and Summer arrives with Felix for their first meeting.
