Coronation Street legend Helen Worth has said it hasn't yet 'sunk in' as she confirmed the reason she has decided to quit the show of five decades. It was confirmed on Wednesday (June 5) that the actress would be leaving the ITV soap as Gail Platt.

Helen will start filming her exit story next month and the emotional scenes will be on screen at the end of the year.
Confirming the reason behind her exit, Helen said in a statement: "This year felt like the perfect
