Coronation Street fans say same thing as they're left stunned by Bethany Platt's return as actress sends two-word message

Coronation Street fans were left making the same remark after Bethany Platt made a return to Weatherfield. Actress Lucy Fallon has reprised her role in the ITV soap, just over five years after leaving to pursue other projects.
Her return scenes aired during Sunday night's New Year's Eve edition of Corrie and her return certainly caused shockwaves for some. The last episode of the long-running soap in 2023 saw Jenny Connor and Daisy Midgeley fast-tracking the reopening of the Rovers Return in time for the end-of-year celebrations.
The pair, who whipped up a criminal way of getting the beloved pub back into their hands, managed to get their former regulars back in the boozer after months of being boarded up. But after a row with Daniel Osbourne earlier in the day, Daisy's mind was on her ex-fiance.

But unbeknownst to her, Daniel had been surprised by the return of Bethany and the former flames didn't take too long to be reacquainted. After some advice from Jenny, Daisy headed over the speak to Daniel.
As she thought about using her keys to enter her former home, she decided to knock and just a mere few moments later, Bethany opened the door in nothing but a sheet, exclaiming Daisy wasn't the delivery person they were expecting.
As Daisy took in what was in front of her, the two women pondered who each other was. But as Daniel appeared barely clothed, Daisy chucked his flat keys at him before he shut the door and she was left sobbing before making her way home as her neighbours gave a rendition of Auld Lang Syne outside the pub.
And it didn't take
