Coronation Street fans have said 'I'm calling it now' as they make prediction about Joel Deering. It's fair to say that viewers of the ITV soap have been suspicious of the solicitor ever since he made his first appearance on the cobbles back in September.
Joel first appeared on the street, played by Callum Lill, when he nearly lost Dee-Dee Bailey her job. He was soon inviting Dee-Dee out for a drink, explaining that he needed to pick her brain about US law but it was just a ruse as he hoped to land a date with the local lawyer.
He has since made himself more comfortable in Weatherfield having now struck up a relationship with Dee-Dee. During Monday night's (January 22) Corrie, Joel was seen at Dee-Dee's flat as she planned to cook a romantic meal for the pair following his support throughout her family turmoil after her dad's gambling relapse was revealed.

But as the pair got cosy on the sofa, Dee-Dee and Joel were interrupted by Ed who wanted to share the good news with Dee-Dee that he may have a buyer for the builder's yard and that he had picked them up a Fresco's special meal deal for them to enjoy.
Ed quickly realised he was interrupting something but Joel insisted his girlfriend spend time with her dad and that he head off. Dee-Dee didn't seem too keen and insisted she was cooking. But Joel made his exit leaving Dee-Dee to enjoy a night in with her father.
But as the quite innocent scenes unfolded, Corrie fans were left flocking to social media as they shared their suspicions about Joel. @tajm_x said: "Joel is a slippery character isn't it? #Corrie
