Coronation Street actor Calum Lill has announced that he's engaged to his stunning girlfriend, Roberta, after a 'hot tub' proposal as he's congratulated by his soap co-stars.
The actor, who has appeared as solicitor Joel Deering in Coronation Street since September 2023, took to Instagram to announce his happy news. First, he posted a smiling snap with his new wife-to-be, as he wore a dark zip-up top whilst she placed a hand on his chest, showing off her diamond ring.
In the second, he donned a black swimsuit - seemingly his new fiancée's - as they stood next to a hot tub. In the caption, Callum wrote: "About time I made an honest woman of her [engagement ring emoji].
"Celebrated with drinks in the hot tub but Roberta thought it would be funny to remove my swimming shorts from the suitcase.
Thanks @dolly_rose_campbell for lending me your spare cossie. I think I rocked it tbf." His followers, including some of his Corrie pals, rushed to offer their congratulations, including Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays DeeDee Bailey in Coronation Street.
She wrote: "Congratulations you gorgeous pair," whilst another follower said: "Congratulations to both of you," and Lucy Fallon added: "congratulations guys!!!!!" Meanwhile Alex Bain, who recently left his role as Simon Barlow, shared: "Congratulations lad! Absolutely wonderful news." Callum recently joked about having a 'real world girlfriend and a TV girlfriend' as he shared a video of Roberta and Channique laughing together. The clip then cut to him wearing a deadpan expression as he held up a number of bags, as he wrote in the caption: "2 x things to carry.
2 x being told what to do. 2 x ear ache." Callum arrived on Coronation Street as Joel Deering back in 2023.
