Five youths have been traced and reported following a racially aggravated attack in Glasgow on Monday.
Around 1.30pm a 50-year-old woman, who wears a hijab, was allegedly 'attacked' by the gang who were said to have 'cornered' her and shouted Islamophobic abuse at her.
It is further alleged that one teen even hit her with a plank of wood in the face during the horrific ordeal near Ibrox subway station.
Police have confirmed that five juveniles have now been traced and reported.
Cops have stepped up patrols in the Ibrox area following the incident in a bid to reassure the public.
A statement posted by Glasgow South West Police said: "Increased police re-assurance patrols are currently ongoing in the Ibrox area following the recent reporting of a racially aggravated incident.
"Five juveniles have been identified and have been reported for the offence. #keepingpeoplesafe"
