The basics
Covering the basics - including your date's job, where they grew up and how long they've lived in the city - is a great place to start. Michelle encourages getting 'creative' with your questions to help gain a better understanding of your date's personality. She adds: "Have a bit of fun questioning them about their favourite holiday destination or ask them how they spend their weekends."
Nick seconds talking about travel and holidays and also recommends asking about your date's hopes for the future and what they're passionate about. Finding out their favourite music, books and TV series are also great conversation starters.
