Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Christmas plans could mean sad news for King Charles: expert

skipped out on merry festivities with the royal family last year, and according to royal expert and historian Tessa Dunlop, the couple will be looking to sit out a trip to Harry’s home soil again this year.“Christmas is coming and we want Meghan and Harry to inject the Windsor brand with a bit of transatlantic tension,” Dunlop told the Mirror. “But don’t hold your breath, just as Harry was a no-show at Balmoral this summer it is unlikely that he’ll grace Sandringham with his presence.”“Far from buying a penthouse near London, it doesn’t even look like King Charles will get a Christmas cuddle with those absent grandchildren,” she added, referring to the couple’s kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, now have no official place to stay in the UK after the King served them an eviction notice from their former royal residence, Frogmore Cottage.Dunlop believes that the pair will “branch out and buy somewhere of their own” in what she calls “a mission-driven by homesick Harry.”“As with so many Sussex rumors, the subtext here is marital tension,” she continued.

Kevin Spacey receives standing ovation for first stage performance since trial

Kevin Spacey was met with a standing ovation last night (October 16) as he returned to the stage for the first time since being cleared of sexual assault charges.Spacey performed a brief scene from the Shakespeare play Timon Of Athens at a theatre in Oxford, during a lecture held in memory of the late conservative philosopher Roger Scruton.Evidently, the extract had been chosen for a reason. Douglas Murray, the conservative columnist who delivered the lecture and invited Spacey to perform in Oxford and delivered the lecture, told the Times that Timon of Athens was about what “happens when a society drops a person for no reason”.Views of Scruton’s legacy remain divisive, and while his work was admired by conservatives, he has been accused of fuelling modern anti-immigrant sentiment. In July, Spacey was acquitted of all nine charges he was facing, including seven counts of sexual assault, one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent, and one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity. He was accused of sexual offences against four men, alleged to have taken place between 2001 and 2013.

Kevin Spacey bashes cancel culture in first performance since exoneration: ‘I am sick of this false world’

“Hollywood comeback.”The two-time Oscar-winning actor, 64, took to the stage for the first time since being acquitted of sexual assault charges in London in July. The “House of Cards” alum performed a monologue at the Sheldonian Theatre, an architectural jewel inside the heart of the University of Oxford, from the play “Timon of Athens” written by William Shakespeare in the early 1600s.Spacey was introduced to the audience by British author, political commentator and Post columnist Douglas Murray, who had just finished giving a lecture on the damaging effects of cancel culture in honor of the late Sir Roger Scruton, an English philosopher, writer and social critic who died in January 2020 at 75.Scruton, a government housing adviser, wrongly lost his job in 2019 after he appeared to repeat antisemitic statements and denied Islamophobia was a problem during a magazine interview with the New Statesman.“In an era of cancellation and defenestration, we sometimes forget that we both cannot go on like this and that we have been here before,” Murray said. “We know this because our greatest writers and artists have addressed this question in their own times.

Blink-182 have paid homage to the legendary New York rock band the Ramones in the video for their latest single ‘Dance With Me’.The track is a fresh take on a classic Blink song packed with a tapping guitar riff, heavy drums and catchy, anthemic lyrics such as: “Olé, Olé. Olé, Olé, Olé, Olé / Yeah / We’re doing it all night long“.Directed by The Malloys, the song’s accompanying video is billed as a love letter to the famous New York punks – one of Blink’s favourite bands – and sees Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker dressed up in Ramones cosplay.
