CNN Has Temporary Primetime Assignments for Jake Tapper, Laura Coates, Alisyn Camerota

President Biden said Hunter Biden is "on the straight and narrow" and that he is "proud of" him despite recent criminal allegations against his son, including tax fraud and lying to purchase a gun. During an interview with CNN host Jake Tapper on Tuesday, the president defended his son as the 52-year-old potentially faces tax and false statements charges from David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney for Delaware.

President Biden acknowledged the possibility of what he described as a "slight recession" could occur in the near future.  It was determined back in July that the U.S. suffered back-to-back consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth, which has long been the indicator of a recession. However, both the Biden administration and many members of the media have dismissed that long-standing definition.  During an interview on Tuesday, CNN's Jake Tapper asked the president, "Should the American people prepare for a recession?" "No," Biden initially responded.

Joe Biden, in an interview with Jake Tapper, said that he doesn’t think that Russian President Vladimir Putin would use a tactical nuclear weapon but that it was “irresponsible” for him to talk about it.

Jake Tapper will interview Joe Biden on CNN Tonight on Tuesday, which marks the start of Tapper’s stint as anchor of the show through the midterms.

A Northern California fire department is investigating a video posted on social media showing a woman wearing a bikini exiting a fire truck outside a strip club. The San Jose Fire Department launched the investigation after a video posted on the San Jose Foos Instagram account on Thursday night showed a fire truck with lights flashing stop outside the Pink Poodle Strip Club before a bikini clad woman hopped out and walked toward the club, KTVU-TV reported.

Anne Heche‘s ex-husband James Tupper has filed paperwork in court to become the legal guardian of their 13-year-old son, Atlas Heche Tupper.

Anne Heche's son, Homer Laffoon, filed an opposition to James Tupper's petition for appointment of guardian ad litem Tuesday in new court documents submitted to a Los Angeles County court and obtained by Fox News Digital. Tupper, who dated Heche for 11 years and has 13-year-old son Atlas with the late actress, initially filed paperwork Monday seeking to establish himself as the guardian ad litem of his son, who is legally a minor.Tupper's documents then go on to request "a bonded, neutral, private, professional fiduciary be selected to administer the subject estate." Laffoon claims Tupper is "precluded from serving as the minor's guardian ad litem based on several actual and potential conflicts of interest." The documents state Tupper professed affection for both of the children, which could be an issue if he is "ever forced to side with one child against the other." A source told Fox News Digital that Atlas's interests are already "adequately represented in the proceedings" as they are also Homer's interests.

Prime Video has set a December premiere date for Season 3 of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. All eight episodes of the series, starring and executive produced by John Krasinski, will launch on Wednesday, December 21, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
