Muzz—the new band of Paul Banks, producer/multi-instrumentalist Josh Kaufman, and Matt Barrick—have shared a new song along with the announcement that their debut album is on the way. Walter Martin, formerly of the Walkmen, has shared a new benefit single. It’s called “Quarantine Boogie (Loco)” and it’s his latest collaboration with the National’s Matt Berninger, who sings backup vocals. “Quarantine Boogie (Loco)” also has horns from Stuart Bogie. Amnesia Scanner—the Berlin-based duo of Ville Haimala and Martti Kalliala—are back with a new album. It’s called Tearless and it’s set to arrive on June 5 via PAN. Listen to “AS Going” from the LP below. The new album, which follows up their 2018 full-length Another Life, features Lalita, Code Orange, and LYZZA.

Gorillaz have shared another new song in their Song Machine series. It’s called “Aries” and it features New Order’s Peter Hook (on bass) and producer Georgia (on drums). Gorillaz’s cartoon guitarist Noodle said in a press relese, “Highly impatient and competitive, many Aries have the fighting spirit of your mythological ruler.” Hear “Aries” below.

Over a decade after their 2009 debut album II, Desire—the project fronted by Megan Louise—have announced their second album. It’s called Escape, and it arrives this summer via Italians Do It Better. The 1975 have shared “Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America,” the sixth offering from Notes on a Conditional Form. The new song is a duet between Matty Healy and Phoebe Bridgers. Hear it below.

Iceage have shared a new song, “Lockdown Blues.” It was written in the wake of the social distancing measures put in place by countries worldwide in an effort to combat the spread of coronavirus. Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have announced their new album Sideways to New Italy. The Melbourne band’s new one is out June 5 via Sub Pop. They’ve released a video for their new song “She’s There.” Watch the Nick Mckk-directed visual below.

Los Angeles duo No Age have shared the music video for a new song called “Feeler.” The visual is directed by Kersti Jan Werdel, who said she “wanted to make something that felt honest to the experience of being an adolescent just before entering adulthood.” Watch below.

Inventions—the duo of Matthew Robert Cooper (aka Eluvium) and Explosions in the Sky’s Mark T. Smith—have announced their next album. Continuous Portrait arrives digitally May 29 via Temporary Residence Ltd.
