Pancake day is just around the corner, meaning it is time to stock up on all your ingredients and favourite toppings - if you haven't already.
These days pancakes are not complete without endless options of different toppings and that can certainly make for a bit more of an expensive shopping list.

And, thanks to research from Little-Loans.com, the cheapest supermarket has officially been revealed and it's not Lidl, Tesco or Asda.
Research has found that popular budget supermarket Aldi once again proves itself to be offering shoppers the lowest prices compared to the rest of their competitors.
Each of the supermarkets were ranked on a scale of one to ten for their value for money on a list of six general pancake ingredients.
The list included six eggs, plain white flour, one pint semi-skimmed milk, caster sugar, lemon juice, chocolate spread, strawberries, golden syrup and blueberries.
At just £2.69 a head, the German grocer came out on top, proving to shoppers that you can still indulge in some pancakes for much less this year.
It will come as welcome news to families across Scotland who are already struggling to make ends meet and stick to a budget following the cost of living crisis.
At the opposite end of the scale, M&S shoppers were found to be paying £4.75 per head for the same ingredients - making them a whopping 1.5x dearer than Aldi.
Asda proved it could also shoppers a pocket-friendly pancake day by coming in a close second place at £3 per head, while Tesco came in a humble third at £3.22 per head.
