Charley Webb has declared 'over and out' as she marked the end of an 'incredible journey' after confirming her split from her husband Matthew Wolfenden. The former couple, who met on the set of Emmerdale, issued a statement on their marriage last week.
Rumours had been swirling about their relationship for weeks amid Matthew quitting the ITV soap and heading into the West End in Elf the Musical. Meanwhile, Charley, who previously played Debbie Dingle for more than a decade in the Dales, has been busy touring the country in her first theatre role in Quiz the Play.
But in an Instagram post, Charley put an end to the rumours and confirmed her and Matthew's separation by posting a typed-out message on a black background which read: "It is with love and respect that Matthew and I have decided to separate. We remain friends and our priority is the love for our children."

Charley has since returned to social media to bid farewell to her "incredible journey". The 35-year-old shared a photo of herself holding up a peace sign with her back to the camera as she stood on a theatre stage. She then wrote: "Over and out Diana. Gemma Atkinson was quick to respond to the post, simply posting a string of clapping emojis. Her Hollyoaks star brother Jamie Lomas also said: "Well done babes."
