Charley Webb teased a glimpse of her outfit as she headed out for dinner to say 'goodbye'. The actress took to Instagram to share how her pals had organised a special meal as she prepares to leave for a while.
It was revealed last month that the former Emmerdale star is set to make her stage debut later this year in the national tour of James Graham’s smash hit play Quiz. Bury-born Charley, who is famed for having played Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap, will join the cast in her first professional stage role and will be showing off her live acting skills in her home city as the play comes to The Lowry, Salford, from October 24 to October 28 2023.
Taking to Instagram at the time to confirm the news, Charley shared a picture of her headshot on a poster for the play and wrote: "I’ve been so excited to announce this. I’ll be making my stage debut in Quiz as Diana Ingram, written by the amazing @misterjamesgraham."

She added: "We’re opening in @chichesterft on Friday 22nd September and we’ll be going on tour for 9 weeks to some amazing theatres. Very nervous but very excited. Link in my bio. Who’s coming?"
And there was more exciting news from Charley earlier this week as it was revealed that she is among the star-studded cast of ITV true crime drama, The Long Shadow, coming to ITV1 and ITVX next month. It is billed as the "definitive depiction of the desperate five-year hunt for serial killer Peter Sutcliffe", with a focus on the lives of the victims who crossed his path and those of the officers at the heart of the police investigation.
