Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) and income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) will be sent letters over the next two years informing them they must make a claim for Universal Credit within three months from the date on the letter.

In the latest update on GOV.UK about the managed migration progress, DWP has shared useful information for those in England who are moving from one of the six legacy benefits to Universal Credit about Work Capability Assessments (WCA).
The guidance highlights that some people may not need to go through another Work Capability Assessment when they move to Universal Credit - if they meet specific criteria.
