The festive period can wreak havoc on your skin, with cold weather, late nights and stubborn makeup (we’re looking at you, glitter eyeshadow) all forcing your skin to endure more than it usually would. Now we’ve entered a brand new year, it's time to focus on giving your skin a little extra TLC, and CeraVe’s latest sensitive skin saviour couldn’t have launched at a better time.
The CeraVe Advanced Repair Ointment for Very Dry and Chapped Skin, £14 here, has already been a massive hit in the USA, and has racked up more than 22 million views and counting on TikTok, becoming one of the brand’s most-requested launches from UK shoppers.
It seems the CeraVe team has heeded our pleas, because as of January 1 you can now get the CeraVe Advanced Repair Ointment for Very Dry and Chapped Skin, £14 here, in the UK, and it promises to be everything your skin needs to recover from the winter blues. The moisturising ointment is designed to tackle dry, chapped, cracked and sensitive skin, giving it instant relief as well as long-lasting hydration, and is pretty much guaranteed to become an absolute staple in your beauty stash.
Its non-greasy formula contains hyaluronic acid to draw moisture into the skin, while ceramides and petrolatum restore the skin barrier, forming a waterproof barrier on the skin’s surface and locking in moisture. As well as helping the usual sensitive skin woes caused by cold, dry weather, it also helps heal and protect skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, alleviating symptoms and making your skin feel calmer and more hydrated.
