Police have released a CCTV image of a man they are hunting following a serious street attack during Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee.
Officers raced to the incident on Lochee High Street at 11.40pm on Sunday, May 28. Medics attended and the victim was found with serious injuries.
Detectives probing the incident believe the man in the images could assist them with their enquiries. They have appealed to anybody who may recognise him to come forward.
He is described as white, around 5ft 6in, of a medium build, between 20 and 30 years old and with short, dark hair. He spoke with a local accent and was in the company of a woman at the time of the attack.
She is described as being of slim build with long, blonde hair and had a large tattoo on her right thigh.
Detective Constable Andrew Nicoll of Dundee CID said: “We are keen to speak to the man in the image as he may be able to assist with our enquiries. I would encourage the man pictured or anyone who may recognise him to get in touch”.
It is one of three serious assaults to have taken place in the city during the music festival. The incidents are all believed to have occurred as people were leaving the event.

Keris was treated at hospital and subsequently reported the attack to police on Tuesday, 30 May. The suspect is described as being in his early 30s, tall and of a slim build.
