CCTV captures missing grandad, 81, miles away from home as search expands

A missing grandad from Oldham has travelled to Huddersfield, police have confirmed.
Ronald, who has been named by his family as Ronnie Webster, went missing on Thursday (September 14). Greater Manchester Police said he was spotted on Walkers Road at around 10.52am.
The 81-year-old was then spotted on the 184 bus going towards Huddersfield. Today (Tuesday), police have released a new CCTV image of Ronald at Huddersfield bus station.

He was spotted there at around 3.45pm on the day he went missing, officers said. Ronald is described as being around 4ft 11in tall and of small build.
He has grey hair around the back and sides which is bald on top. He has a few gaps in his teeth.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black and blue coat, with grey trousers. He also uses a walking stick.
In a post on social media this morning, police shared the new CCTV picture and said: "#MISSING | An update on Ronald. He was last seen at 3:45pm on 14/09/23 at #Huddersfield Bus Station, getting off the 184 bus. He is 81, around 4’11, of small build and has grey hair around the back and sides, bald on top.
"He has a few gaps in his teeth. Any info? Call 101 quoting 1013 of 16/09/2023."
