Police want to speak to this man after £2,000 worth of mainly booze was taken by a serial shoplifter from the same shop. The culprit has a taste for Jack Daniel's whisky but has also stolen rum and brandy.
Over the past month officers have received at least three reports of shoplifting involving the same man at the Co-op Store on West Park Drive, Gawsworth, Macclesfield. A thief struck on October 6th, twice on November 14th and again on November 17th. But it is suspected he has stolen from the same store of several other occasions too.
During the incidents a number of items have been stolen, mainly high value bottles of alcohol. They have included bottles of Jack Daniel's whisky, and the honey version of the same brand. Three Barrels brandy, Flor de Cana rum, and Cointreau liqueur.

The thief has been brazen on each occasion - just putting bottles in his pocket or under his coat. Enquiries have been ongoing and officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to these incidents.
PCSO Melissa Mellor of Macclesfield police said: “This investigation relates to the theft of approximately £2,000 worth of goods from a convenience store in Macclesfield and we are committed to doing all we can to identify the person responsible. As part of our investigation we’re keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image as we think he may hold vital information.
