CBS Cancels 1 TV Show, Renews 16 More & Announces 1 Is Ending in 2022

Burna Boy has announced his touring plans for summer 2022, revealing a short nine-date run in the second half of July. The tour will support the Nigerian superstar's sixth studio LP, Love, Damini, set to drop at 7 p.m. EDT on June 30 in celebration of his 31st birthday, which falls on a Saturday (July 2).

Out LGBTQI Australian actors Murray Bartlett, Hugh Sheridan and Troye Sivan have been nominated for the 2022 Logie Awards. The nominations for Australian TV’s biggest awards were announced on Sunday and LGBTQI excellence was featured in some of the prominent award categories. ABC is completing their 2022/2023 TV slate and they’ve made lots of renewal and cancellation decisions so far.

Emily Longeretta After three successful freshman seasons, TLC has renewed “I Am Shauna Rae,” “David & Annie: After the 90 Days” and “Loren & Alexei: After the 90 Days.”All three shows ranking in the top five freshman series for women 18-34 will return later this year.“I Am Shauna Rae” is produced by Figure 8 Films for TLC, while both “90 Day Fiancé” spinoffs are produced by Sharp Entertainment, a part of Sony Pictures Television.In addition to the renewals, TLC announced their summer premiere dates for four fan-favorite series.“Say Yes to the Dress,” produced by Half Yard Productions, a Red Arrow Studios company, celebrates 15 years when it returns on Saturday, July 9 at 8 p.m. ET. On the new season, the Kleinfeld team are reminded that they haven’t seen it all just yet.

CBS has canceled "Magnum P.I." after four seasons.The fourth season concluded May 6, an episode that will stand as the show’s finale. The show was filmed and based in Hawaii and is one of four programs the network canceled, it said in an announcement Thursday. "How We Roll," "B Positive" and "Good Sam" were also cut.

The case of Magnum P.I. has closed on CBS, leaving the creative minds and the cast of the reboot series feeling bittersweet about its cancellation.

Anatomy of a Scandal star Hannah Dodd is set to take on the role of Francesca Bridgerton in season three of Netflix’s smash hit period drama Bridgerton.The 26 year old, who recently starred in Hollywood blockbuster Marvel’s Eternals, will take over the role from Ruby Strokes when production restarts later this Summer.The latest casting change hints that we might be seeing a lot more of character Francesca in the upcoming season, albeit with a different look. Ruby parted ways with the popular drama in order to pursue another role as the lead in Netflix’s upcoming show Lockwood & Co, but fans are definitely excited to see what Hannah can bring to the screen as she takes on the role.

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at LargeCBS has canceled the Chuck Lorre-produced sitcom “United States of Al” after two seasons, Variety has confirmed.“United States of Al” centers on the relationship between Marine combat veteran Riley (Parker Young) and his Afghan interpreter Awalmir, or “Al” (Adhir Kalyan), who finally lands a visa allowing him passage into the United States. Riley, who has separated from his wife, makes room for Al in his Ohio home, and together they struggle to adjust to their post-combat lives.Creators David Goetsch and Maria Ferrari, who worked for Lorre on “The Big Bang Theory,” began kicking around the idea for “Al” after seeing stories on the plight of 17,000 Afghan interpreters who have been promised asylum in the United States, but are still waiting to be granted entry.

All Points East festival, with Kenny Beats, Self Esteem, Sherelle and more on the line-up.Ray-Ban X APE present The Summer Sessions will take place ahead of the main festival weekends between August 19-28, with shows scheduled for May, June and July.Sherelle will kick off the sessions on May 26 at Colour Factory in Hackney Wick, where she’ll be joined by LCY, Nia Archives and Foundation FM.On June 9, producer Kenny Beats and his Friends headlines Camden’s KOKO, featuring special guest Knucks and others.The series ends on July 14, where Self Esteem will be playing Earth at Hackney for an intimate set. This show is the final chance to catch her in London before All Points East.Tickets for all three shows will go on sale this Thursday (May 12) at 10am.
