She began the post with the quote, “Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere, they’re in each other all along.”
Caylee began her letter, “Today, January 26th, is the day we first met. The universe conspired to bring us together when we each needed the other most.”
“Caleb Casey Affleck, you are the other half of my heart. You are such a wonderful and loving boyfriend. You are a genius who beats everyone at chess (except your youngest son). You are genuine. You say what you mean and mean what you say. You are generous with your time. You are gracious and forgive yourself and others. You are the greatest gift. Through your vulnerability and sensitivity, you have reminded me that hardship makes the heart stronger, and that the beauty we all have- everyone- is in part, the pattern of our scars,” Caylee said.
She continued, “Our scars, as much as any other part, make us who we are. Highly sensitive people, who feel intensely, know that pain is not a symptom of weakness, but a consequence of being alive on Earth. You make me feel safe in this world. The shelter of your embrace gets me through the toughest days. In Vietnam, it is said that a nickname for one’s life partner is “my home” and that is what you’ve become for me. A home. Caleb Casey Affleck, I love you! – Catherine Caylee Cowan.”
The couple was spotted on a date in L.A. last month and we have the photos.

Fight Club.Back in January, the 1999 film hit headlines after it emerged that its final scenes had been altered on streaming platform Tencent Video, replacing The Narrator (Edward Norton) killing off imaginary alter ego Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) and watching buildings collapse.Instead, a blank slate reads: “The police rapidly figured out the whole plan and arrested all criminals, successfully preventing the bomb from exploding. After the trial, Tyler was sent to a lunatic asylum receiving psychological treatment.”Now, in a new interview with Empire, Fincher has spoken out about the edit.“It’s funny to me that the people who wrote the Band-Aid [ending] in China must have read the book, because it adheres pretty closely,” he said, referring to the fact that in Chuck Palahniuk’s novel on which the film is based, ‘Jack’ is in an institution at the end. When asked about the ending, he replied: “Here’s what we know.

Fight Club‘s original ending has been restored on Chinese streaming service Tencent Video following cuts to its conclusion.Last month, the 1999 film hit headlines after it emerged that its final scenes had been altered on the platform, replacing The Narrator (Edward Norton) killing of imaginary alter ego Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) and watching buildings collapse.Instead, a blank slate reads: “The police rapidly figured out the whole plan and arrested all criminals, successfully preventing the bomb from exploding. After the trial, Tyler was sent to a lunatic asylum receiving psychological treatment.”Following a backlash, however, Tencent has now reportedly restored 11 of the 12 minutes cut in its version, only keeping a sex scene between Durden and Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter) out.China has strict rules on censorship, which may have explained the original cut ending, though it is unclear if the backlash has led to the restoration.

Ben Whishaw, the star of the BBC/AMC’s upcoming This Is Going to Hurt adaptation, was attracted to the medical drama due to it being “a love letter to the NHS.”
Manori Ravindran International EditorAdam Kay’s TV adaptation of his 2017 memoir “This Is Going to Hurt” paints a portrait of Britain’s beleaguered National Heath Service that is “genital warts and all,” according to the screenwriter. Its purpose, he says, is reminding audiences of the thankless and often unrecognized work of healthcare professionals.Starring Ben Whishaw (“No Time to Die”) as a junior doctor with the NHS during the early 2000s, the BBC-AMC co-production is set on a labor ward around 2004 — a full 15 years before the COVID-19 pandemic pushed the publicly funded healthcare system to the very brink. Yet as the show plainly presents, the NHS has lacked adequate resources for years, and its staff have paid the price.

Zack Sharf “Fight Club” author Chuck Palahniuk has shared a surprising reaction to this week’s news that China censored the ending of David Fincher’s 1999 movie, which is based on Palahniuk’s 1996 novel of the same name. As reported by Variety, “Fight Club” was uploaded to Tencent Video, China’s largest video streamer, with an entirely new ending that is the exact opposite of Fincher’s finale. In the 1999 original, Edward Norton’s narrator character kills off his alter ego Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) before watching the city burst into flames in apparent confirmation that his plan to destroy civilization has worked. The new ending in China cuts the film to black before the city erupts in films.
