Manchester United's injury issues continue to blight their start to the season.
Midfielder Casemiro is the latest to join the absentee list having picked up an injury on his return to the side against Newcastle United in midweek. The 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat to the Magpies ended United's defence of the trophy and heaped further pressure on Erik ten Hag and his misfiring team.
The absence of Casemiro, who is set to miss the weekend Premier League trip to Fulham, will further hamper the Reds who have had several first-team players sidelined at various points this season. The Brazil international had only just returned to action after picking up an ankle injury while on international duty last month. United remain without a clutch of stars and we have rounded up the latest from the Old Trafford treatment room.

What we know: The midfielder will miss the game with Fulham this weekend. He made his return to action in the Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle United on Wednesday night having sustained an ankle problem while on international duty with Brazil last month. But he was forced off at halftime against the Magpies with Ten Hag confirming he is set to miss the trip to Craven Cottage.
