A cannabis farm was uncovered in a house in Moss Side after emergency services were called to a fire.
Firefighters were scrambled to the scene on Cowesby Street at around 9.40pm on Sunday (September 4). Police officers were also called to the incident.
No injuries were reported in the fire. A 'significant' cannabis farm was discovered inside the house.

An investigation is now underway, police said. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "On Sunday 4 September 2022 at around 9:40pm officers attended an incident on Cowesby Street, Moss Side to support GMFRS who were dealing with a house fire.
"After entering the address GMFRS found a significant cannabis farm inside the property. No injuries were reported at the time. An investigation is now underway."
