Scottish singer Callum Beattie has been 'overwhelmed' with the response to his Glasgow gigs selling out that he has decided to add on an extra date for music fans at the Barrowlands later this year.
The Edinburgh-born singer, 33, currently planned to play at the iconic venue in the east end of the city on two dates in December, but due to the huge demand from fans the Salamander Street star has decided to add an extra gig.
Callum has now confirmed he will be playing a new date at the Barrowlands on December 21, with his other two performances on the December 19 and 20 now confirmed as sold-out. He has been "blown away" by the positive response.

He added: "I can’t thank the fans enough for making all my dreams come true this year – I’m so excited to end the year with you all at the Barras and I have amazing plans for 2024."
Promoter Mark Mackie of Regular Music said: "We’re thrilled at being able to announce a third night at Barrowland for Callum this Christmas – what a perfect end to the year.
