Call the Midwife star Helen George has been spotted leaving the home of her co-star and on-screen husband Olly Rix's house after they both split from their partners. Helen, 39, and Olly, 36, who play Trixie Franklin and Matthew Aylward in Call the Midwife, are thought to be supporting each other after their breakups. On Sunday morning last weekend, Olly was seen leaving his West London home, dressed casually in dark jogging bottoms and a puffer coat, before he returned carrying two takeaway coffee cups.
Helen was later seen emerging from his home carrying a large black bag and holding onto a lead as she took her dog Charlie with her. She was ready for the day in a red top, dark skirt and beige shearling jacket, and wore a chunky gold necklace to accessorise. Her brown hair was styled into a side parting and flowed past her shoulders as she made her way home - ten miles away in East London.
An onlooker said that Olly looked "relaxed" whilst Helen looked "dishevelled" as she left his home, before she "hopped on the Tube". A TV insider told the Sun on Sunday: “It’s been a tricky year for both Helen and Olly.
They have been spending a lot of time together on set, walking their dogs together and chatting a lot. “They both have respect for each other as actors and they are supportive of each other and dedicated to their roles on the drama.
