Jenna Ortega may be ready to reunite with Tim Burton on his next project as sources confirm to Deadline that Ortega is in early talks to reunite with the Wednesday creator on Beetlejuice 2 at Warner Bros. Insiders add that Michael Keaton and Wyonna Ryder are expected to reprise their roles with Burton directing.

Tim Burton is staying in the Jenna Ortega business, as the ‘Wednesday’ star is currently eyeing a role in “Beetlejuice 2,” TheWrap has confirmed.The film will be the sequel to Burton’s 1988 comedy classic that also marked his first collaboration with Michael Keaton. The fourth installment in Keanu Reeves’ runaway hit franchise has the honor of being this year’s “secret screening” at the SXSW Film Festival, multiple sources told Variety. The film will show next week on the ground in Texas at a major venue, the sources added. Distributor Lionsgate and SXSW Film Festival organizers would not comment on this story, most likely trying to preserve the fan experience. One source added that digital marketing will come into play with how and when lucky guests nab tickets to the screening.
