Boygenius have shared a new short film directed by Kristen Stewart – you can watch it in full below.The trio – comprising Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus – released the 14-minute The Film today (March 31) alongside their debut studio album, ‘The Record’. It comes after Stewart was touted to direct three of the band’s music videos.Containing Boygenius’ first three singles from their LP (‘$20’, ‘Emily I’m Sorry’ and ‘True Blue’), the visuals begin with Dacus humming along to ‘The Record’ opener ‘Without You Without Them’ before Baker wakes up in a red race car bed.Later, Bridgers takes the lead for the ‘Emily I’m Sorry’ part as she sings in a stadium while monster trucks drive around her.

Joe Goldberg’s story is coming to an end. Netflix has renewed You for a fifth season, which will be the the last chapter for the popular thriller from Warner Bros. Television and studio-based Berlanti Prods. Penn Badgley will be back, reprising his role as serial killer Joe (who could finally face justice), but there will be a behind-the-scenes change on the series, developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble based on the Alloy books by Caroline Kepnes.

The director and star of “The Room” has debuted the trailer for “Big Shark,” his first follow-up feature to his trademark 2003 cult melodrama. “Big Shark” follows three firefighters, Georgie, Patrick and Tim, as they work to save New Orleans from an attack by — you guessed it — a very big shark. While this first look at “Big Shark” is only now being debuted online, the trailer has already been playing for audiences at theatrical screenings of “The Room” over recent months. “Big Shark” will kick off its rollout on April 2 with a debut screening at Cinema 21 in Portland, Ore. The project condenses a year’s worth of conversations between Martin, 77, and his friend of more than three decades, New Yorker writer Adam Gopnik. In the audiobook, according to Pushkin, Martin is “more candid than he’s ever been” about his many lives — as a comedian, actor, writer, musician, magician, art collector and more. Over several sessions, all recorded in Martin’s Upper West Side apartment, “So Many Steves” features commentary about Martin’s creative pursuits along with never-before-shared anecdotes from life on set. In their conversations, Martin reflects on his career, from his early days working as a magician to his rise to Hollywood stardom, and what inspires him to keep challenging himself as an artist. New Order have backed the #LetTheMusicMove campaign against proposed changes to US visa rules that would impact touring artists.Last month saw the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announce that it was planning to raise touring visa fees for foreign acts by more than 250 per cent.The DHS said in its proposal that applications for a P visa, which is for acts arriving in the states to perform temporarily, would increase from the current rate of $460 (£375.23) to $1,615 (£1,317). Meanwhile, the longer-term O work visa would jump from $460 (£375.23) to $1,655 (£1,349).Numerous musicians have since spoken out against the plans, saying that it would be “a huge hardship to pay such high visa fees”.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Yellow Veil Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to the erotic thriller documentary “We Kill For Love” ahead of its world premiere at the Overlook Film Festival. The company is planning a domestic release later this year and will represent the film for international sales with a launch at the upcoming Marche Du Film in Cannes. Written, produced, and directed by Anthony Penta, “We Kill for Love” depicts the long-gone world of direct-to-video erotic thriller, an American film genre that once dominated late night cable television and the shelves of neighborhood video stores.

The 2023 Billboard Music Awards will be held on Sunday, November 19. That marks a return to late fall for the awards show, produced by Dick Clark Productions, which took place in early December during its original 1990-2006 incarnation that was carried by Fox. Billboard Music Awards moved to May when it was revived in 2011, airing on ABC for seven years and, most recently, on NBC for the past six.
