After a Today show appearance on the same day as 7's release, we will get to see an entire episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon dedicated to the septet on February 24, 2020, along with a global press conference in Seoul, South Korea, on the same day!

BTS’s Map of the Soul 7 tracklist features collaborations with Sia and Troye Sivan, and we cannot control our excitement! The South Korean boy band just revealed the track list of their much anticipated upcoming album Map of the Soul 7’s tracklist. The album, which is scheduled to release on 21 February, will feature 20 songs, including a digital-release only edition of the single ON featuring Sia, and Louder Than Bombs, penned by Troye Sivan.

A tiny South Korean hedge fund hit the jackpot when it made a long-shot investment in the surprise Oscar-winning movie “Parasite,” according to a report Wednesday.

It was Bong Joon-ho's night as his masterpiece Parasite dominated at the Oscars 2020 and picked up not one or two, but four Academy Awards. Parasite won the Oscar for Best Picture, the Academy Award for Directing for Bong, International Feature Film and Original Screenplay for Bong and Kwak Sin-ae. The reason why the Best Picture win, in particular, is so monumental is that it's the first South Korean and more significantly non-English language film to be honoured with the prestigious award.

Fear of the coronavirus increased its impact on the South Korean cinema industry. Films were cancelled and box office revenues dropped for a second weekend.

It was a moment of pride for the South Korean film industry after Parasite bagged the highest number of awards at the 92nd Academy Awards over the weekend. The Korean drama film not only won Best International Film but also bagged the Oscar for Best Directing and Best Picture. Soon enough, the internet was flooded with congratulatory messages addressing director Bong Joon Ho and the team of Parasite. BTS joined social media users to congratulate Parasite for their historic win. 

The U.S. television audience for the 2020 Oscars fell to an all-time low for a ceremony that brought big wins for South Korean satire Parasite but was criticized by reviewers as long and haphazard.

On Monday morning (Feb. 10), BTS took to social media following the Academy Awards to congratulate director Bong Joon Ho on Parasite's history-making success at the show.

GFRIEND is all set to drop their new mini-album titled “Labyrinth” this week. The singers drop their first album since Big Hit Entertainment, the entertainment management company behind BTS, took over GFRIEND's agency Source Music.

And the biggest winner of the BAFTA 2020 is 1917. The war drama, directed by Sam Mendes, has been taking home some of the biggest awards this awards season. A week before the Oscars 2020 could commence, the star-studded movie has bagged as many as seven awards at the 73rd British Academy film awards. The movie bagged Best Film, Best Director, Best Special Visual Effects, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design and Best Sound. South Korean movie Parasite was another big winner at BAFTA.

In Bong Joon Ho's genre-bending thrillerParasite, Kim Chung-sook (Chang Hyae-jin) is tasked with makingram-donwith steak for the soon-to-arrive Park family. In the film, they used instant black bean noodles and spicy seafood-flavored noodles made by two of the most famous South Korean noodle brands.
