Bruno Tonioli ‘nearly passes out’ as Britain’s Got Talent stunt goes wrong

As another round of auditions got underway in Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday evening, viewers at home were on the edge of their seats as one gravity defying act took to the stage. Acrobatic trio Serbat Troupe got off to a good start, as one performer attempted to scale a ladder while the other balanced on their head in a handstand position.
Unfortunately despite their enthusiasm, during the trick things didn’t quite go according to plan, and one member fell to the stage while executing a particularly difficult stunt as he lost his balance mid-handstand. Both the judges and audience immediately gasped in concern with many fans devastated to see that the trio’s dreams may have come crashing down.
However, in a surprising twist, the performers refused to be defeated by the setback and instead tried a second time to execute the trick successfully. Driven by their desire to succeed, the troupe managed to successfully pull off the tough stunt, resulting in rapturous applause from the audience.
During the judges comments at the end of the performance, Bruno Tonioli said: "I nearly had a heart attack you nearly killed me.
This was so compelling I nearly passed out. I’ve never seen anything like it, and it was brilliant." Alesha Dixon also weighed in adding: “Absolutely exhausting, I need a lie down.” Before Amanda Holden commented: “It was so brilliant and so tense, but so scary.
I don’t think we’ve ever seen anything like that before.” After giving their critique, the trio were awarded four yes votes from the judges, allowing them to progress in the competition to the next stage and a chance at securing the all important cash prize and chance to perform in this year's Royal Variety Performance.
