Simon Cowell names Britain's Got Talent winner just weeks into new series

Four weeks into the latest series of Britain's Got Talent, and judge Simon Cowell has already named his favourite to win this year's competition, and it's not who you might expect. Despite the series still airing the nail biting auditions on screen, Simon is confident about his favourite act and didn't hold back as he tipped them to win.
As a staple on the BGT judging panel since the first ever episode, Simon has returned to his seat for the latest series, which began last month with back-to-back audition episodes. So far, the show has already seen fellow judges Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon, as well as hosts Ant and Dec, hitting the Golden Buzzer to progress their favourite acts to the televised finals.
Simon also joined the buzz last weekend, catapulting Japanese dance group Cyberagent Legit directly to the live semi-finals after their impressive performance.
The group, who have been dancing together since they were young children, wowed Simon so much that he didn't hesitate to shower them in golden confetti by hitting the buzzer.
Their joy was palpable as they celebrated their fast track to the semis, reports Chronicle Live. However, despite the excitement around Cyberagent Legit, they are not Simon's top pick for the ultimate winner of BGT 2024, as the judge put his faith firmly behind the first golden buzzer recipient of the series.
