Touching floral tributes have been placed at the scene in Trafford where a teenager was killed in a hit-and-run.
The 18-year-old was found in the road by police on patrol on Booth Road in Altrincham at around 5am on Saturday morning (August 12). He had sustained serious injuries and tragically died at the scene.
Police confirmed the incident was a hit-and-run with the driver leaving the scene. Yesterday, an 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. GMP confirmed on Sunday morning he has since been bailed.

Police believe the victim climbed onto the bonnet of a vehicle - a grey Ford Ka - and was driven across the junction of Dunham Road onto Booth Road. He fell from the bonnet and tragically sustained fatal injuries.
Tributes for the teenager have now been left on Booth Road, with pictures showing multiple bouquets of flowers placed against a wall this morning. One tribute said: "Broke my heart hearing this mate.
"Still can't believe it. Love you always, see you in the next life mate."
Another said: "All of our love always."
Following the incident yesterday, a forensic tent was erected on the road while multiple streets were cordoned off by police officers. Residents said they woken by the sound of sirens in the early hours.
