British music scenes outside London are thriving, says BPI

Rolling Stones' BST Hyde Park in London on Sunday as generations of the band's children attended the show. Ronnie Wood's wife Sally, 44, appeared in good spirits at the gig where she brought along their twin daughters Gracie and Alice, six.  Two of Mick Jagger's children also turned out for the event as both Georgia May, 30, and Lucas, 23, were seen among the revellers.

Kate Moss, Stella McCartney, Noel Gallagher, Bruce Springsteen, and Cara Delevingne looked to be having a ball at Glastonbury, and oh to be part of that iconic crew. The legends of fashion and music posed together in a totally star-studded snap after Bruce joined headliner Sir Paul McCartney for an epic performance. Noel, who also performed with his band the High Flying Birds, took a moment to appreciate his fellow musician, giving us an (almost) smile in the incredible snap posted to Stella’s Instagram.

Mick Jagger made a glorious return to the stage with The Rolling Stones at British Summer Time (BST) festival in Hyde Park on Saturday. The 78-year-old musician brought the house down as the rock band – which features guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood – marked 60 years since their first ever show at the Marquee Club in London. Sir Mick donned a vibrant flowery green jacket, while guitarist Ronnie rocked a blue suede jacket and a purple shirt.

It followed frontman Jagger testing positive after experiencing symptoms of COVID upon arrival at the venue.Now, the rockers’ gig at Wankdorf Stadium in Switzerland has also been postponed until a later date.
