Britain's Got Talent has teased the ITV show's first-ever "ghost audition" that leaves judge Amanda Holden asleep on stage. The hit talent show is back for a new series, which premieres on Saturday 16 April at 8pm on ITV, with Amanda, Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Ant and Dec reunited once again.Teasing what fans can expect from Britain's Got Talent 2022, Alesha, 43, revealed that there is an "invisible" audition with the judges convinced it is the first ghost they've had on the show.
She said: "There was an act that came out, didn't speak, we couldn’t see him, he was invisible, or as Simon thought, was our first ghost! That was shocking. I don't even know what happened.

Revealing that the audition even made Amanda fall asleep on stage, Alesha continued: "Well, I couldn't work it out, because usually she tells me everything.
"And the fact that she's saying to me, ‘No, I wasn't asleep,’ and I'm going to her, ‘Yes, you were. You were asleep.’ "So we had this confusing conversation where she didn't know what I was talking about, I thought she was winding me up, I didn't know what was going on.To this day, I still don't know if the joke is on me or if it was genius.
