Renee Zellweger is back in action filming her new Bridget Jones movie, Mad About The Boy.
The film, which is currently being shot across London, sees Renee reprising her role as the beloved character Bridget Jones.
The plot revolves around Bridget's life as a single mum to her two kids, Mabel and Billy, whom she shared with her late ex Mark Darcy, played by Colin Firth. Exclusive new pictures show Renee in full character mode, filming the first school run scenes of the movie.
She's seen strolling with her on-screen children, both clad in their school uniforms, while she sports a casual yet chic ensemble topped with a cream-quilted coat. Also captured in the frame are other cast members including Chiwetel Ejiofor, who plays one of Bridget's upcoming love interests, Mr Walker, and actress Leila Farzad. It appears to be the first time Bridget's children meet Mr Walker, rumoured to be playing a PE teacher at their school.
Renee's character is seen grinning from ear to ear as she engages in conversation with Chiwetel, who looks dapper in a well-tailored suit for the school run scene. Just last week, Bridget was spotted with a new love interest, while other snaps showed her stuck up a tree, being rescued by a young park attendant in scenes from the upcoming film.

Jack Dunn Rian Johnson’s whodunnit franchise will soon notch its third installment with the coming production of “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” pulling its title from the song by U2. While plot details remain under wraps, Johnson recently announced the return of Detective Benoit Blanc, played by series mainstay Daniel Craig, in a 45-second teaser posted to X.
