Bridget Jones is finally back, with the first glimpse at the fourth film newly revealed - showing Renée Zellweger looking as fabulous as ever as she returns as the iconic character.
The fourth movie in the series will kick off with hapless Bridget navigating life as a single mum of two following the death of Colin Firth’s character Mark Darcy. Now, new pictures of Renée show her back in her Bridget character as she struts through the streets of London.
The actress looked glamorous and chic as she walked down a road seemingly full of purpose as she continued filming scenes for the new film. She wore a green satin midi dress paired with a black cardigan and a grey fluffy jacket.
She softly smiled up to the sky, seemingly with thought and admiration, as she enjoyed Bridget's dimly-lit evening stroll.
The last film Bridget Jones’s Baby, which hit our screens in 2016, saw Bridget become a mother after a complicated pregnancy that saw her struggle to determine her child’s paternity. Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson are also set to reprise their roles in the new film. It is set for US release on Valentine's Day 2025, but no date has been announced for the UK.
Fans will also be excited to hear that there's are even more familiar faces joining the cast. One Day star Leo Woodall (who plays Dexter Mayhew in the series) will be joining the sequel. Leo has become a household name since starring in the Netflix series adapted from the novel by David Nicholls, alongside Ambika Mod, who plays Emma Morley, in One Day.
