A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was killed in a stabbing in Tameside.
Police were called to Redesmere Close in Droylsden at around 1.10am on Friday morning (August 6).
Emergency services attended and established that a 47-year-old male had been stabbed inside a property.

Police investigating the murder of a woman in Leeds have launched a manhunt to trace her husband who is thought to have travelled to Scotland. Eileen Barrott, 50, was found by emergency services with serious injuries at an address in Whinmoor, Leeds on Sunday evening around 6.30pm.She was pronounced dead at the scene.Officers say formal identification of her body is still to take place however he death is being treated as murder.
