A teenager has pleaded guilty to the murder of a man found dead in a canal in Leigh.

Liam Bailey, 18, appeared over video link at Manchester Crown Court this afternoon (August 6) for a plea trial and preparation hearing in relation to the death of Scott Anderton, 33.

Wearing a black jumper, he entered a guilty plea to murder.

Two boys - aged 16 and 17 - who cannot be named for legal reasons, also appeared over
