Police have launched an attempted murder investigation after a man was stabbed near Strangeways.
Officers were scrambled to Great Ducie Street in Cheetham Hill at around 3pm on Sunday (August 8) to reports that a man had been attacked.
A 33-year-old man had suffered a serious stab wound in an underpass near Mary Street, GMP said.
