A man has been charged in connection with an alleged rape in Bolton town centre at the weekend.
Greater Manchester Police says a man approached officers in the early hours of Sunday morning (January 23) reporting he had been raped.
The incident is believed to have taken place behind a pub on Deansgate.

GMP says the man suffered minor physical injuries and has since been receiving specialist support from officers.
Today (January 26), GMP has charged a 24-year-old Bolton man with four counts of rape and common assault in connection with the incident.
Said Abshir Omar, of Shepley Avenue, has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court later today.
In a statement issued this morning, a spokesperson for GMP said: "Said Abshir Omar of Shepley Avenue, Bolton has been charged with four counts of rape of a man aged 16 or over and common assault.
"He has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court today (January 26).
"Shortly before 4.20am on Sunday, January 23, an officer on patrol was approached by a man reporting he had been raped behind a pub on Deansgate, Bolton.
"He suffered minor physical injuries is currently receiving specialist support."
