This is the moment armed police stormed one of the Trafford Centre car parks after reports of a man with a gun.
The drama unfolded shortly after 1pm this afternoon.
A call was made to police claiming a man was carrying a firearm on Barton Road in Eccles.
A suspect was then traced to one of the shopping centre's car parks.

Video sent to the Manchester Evening News shows a number of armed officers holding their firearms and shouting as one person walks away with their hands in the air..
Two people can also be seen lying face down on the ground.
One-by-one they are then ordered to stand up and walk towards the officers with their hands on their head before being grabbed.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said they descended on the car park as one of the group matched the description given in the original call.
However, after searches, no gun was found they confirmed.
In a statement, they said: "Police were called to Barton Road, Eccles, at around 1.05pm today (14 February) to a report of a male with a firearm.
"Armed officers were deployed to the area and located a male matching the description as well as a second male and a female.
"Following a search no firearm was recovered and no arrests were made."
A Trafford Centre spokesperson said: "“We can confirm that police were present at one of the Trafford Centre car parks this afternoon in connection with three individuals.
"This was not in relation to anything taking place at the centre."
