The body of a man has been found at a water park in south Manchester.
Police were called to Chorlton Water Park to a concern for welfare report at around 5.10am this morning (Tuesday). Tragically, officers found a man's body at the popular beauty spot.
The Manchester Evening News understands that the body was not found in the water at the park. The circumstances surrounding the death are not believed to be suspicious, police said.

No further details have been released about the man at this stage. Parts of the park were cordoned off this morning with officers at the scene.
Police were spotted near the children's park area with tape in place. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At around 5.10am on 19 July 2022, police received a report of concern for the welfare of a man at Chorlton Water Park.
"Emergency services and a man was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. The death is not believed to be suspicious."
