A 16-year-old boy was stabbed outside a McDonald's restaurant in a horror attack last night.
Police rushed to the scene on Grange Road, Birkenhead, just after 7pm on Saturday.
The teen victim had been knifed twice in the leg and also had a slash wound to the head, the Liverpool Echo reports.
A police spokesperson stated: "His injuries are not life threatening and he is being treated at hospital. Enquiries are ongoing."
Witnesses say the fast food restaurant was cordoned off with a "heavy police presence" following the incident last night.
The restaurant has since re-opened this morning.
