Police have launched an investigation after a 12-year-old boy was left fighting for his life following a hit and run in south Manchester.
Officers were called at around 3.50pm on Tuesday (18 May) after the school boy was struck by a car whilst he crossed Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and is understood to have turned left on to High Lane, police said.
