A 12-year-old boy has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a car in south Manchester.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of crash on Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton just after 3.45pm this afternoon (Tuesday).
An air ambulance landed nearby and the boy was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said he is in a 'critically ill condition'.
