Boots say they have 'ditched foundation' for a budget £12 cream that has 'age-defying' properties, and gives 'flawless, glowing skin'. The £12 age defying cream has had hundreds of five-star reviews, with many of those who have tried calling it 'superior' to more expensive foundations on the market.
Boots' multi-tasking L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect BB Cream has been formulated with a hydrating serum and spf 50 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays - and it's priced at just £11.99, so you don’t have to break the bank for younger-looking skin. Promising to correct, care and protect skin, the BB cream is infused with vitamin B3, and it offers just the right amount of coverage to give you that flawless finish, without settling into lines or looking cakey.
Beauty lovers can choose from eight shades, ranging from light ivory to deep mocha and Boots suggests to pay more attention to areas of the skin with hyperpigmentation when applying it with your fingers, a sponge or brush. The popular foundation alternative has received plenty of praise from delighted Boots customers, with many calling it their ‘holy grail’ and ‘great for mature skin.’

One shopper said: “So glowy and easy to apply! The perfect coverage for face day to day when you don’t want to wear foundation. Highly recommend.”
A second wrote: “Love this! Superior to others I have tried. Gorgeous light/medium coverage, soft and breathable on the skin. Blends effortlessly and I don’t use any foundation on top as the result is just perfect alone for a light even finish. And SPF 50 which I don’t see a lot of in makeup, so a bonus!”
