A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a crash in Heywood. The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital following a collision on Queens Park Road just after 2pm.
The road was closed as police collision experts began an investigation into the incident. Pictures and video from the scene showed a motorbike in the road.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene between Starkey Street and Heywood Hall Road. Traffic was diverted away until the road was re-opened later on Tuesday.

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene and then taken to hospital in a serious condition, according to paramedics.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called to a collision involving a car and a motorbike on Queens Park Road in Heywood at just after 2pm.
No-one has been arrested and an investigation is continuing, she said.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said: "We responded to an road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike. A man in his 40s received treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital with serious injuries."
